AJC Auto Repairs Call

Privacy

Short version: the only thing this site collects is what you type into the contact form, and it is used to answer you.

Who is responsible

A J C Auto Repairs, 2 Osmaston St, Sandiacre, Nottingham NG10 5AL. Ring 0115 949 0991 about anything on this page.

What gets collected

Your name, phone number, and if you fill them in your email address, your car and your message. Nothing else. There is no account to create, no newsletter, and no tracking pixel anywhere on the site.

What it is used for

Getting back to you about the thing you asked about. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you contacted a garage, so the garage replies. It is not passed to anyone for marketing and it is not sold.

Cookies and tracking

None. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no fonts or images from anyone else's server. The one thing it does fetch from elsewhere is the anti-spam check on the contact form, described next, and that sets no cookie and does not track you. So there is still no cookie banner in your way.

The check on the contact form

The contact form, and only that page, runs Cloudflare Turnstile: a quiet check that tells a real person from a bot so the garage is not buried in junk enquiries. To do that, your browser loads a small piece of Cloudflare's code, and Cloudflare sees your IP address and a few details about your browser. It uses those to judge that one submission and nothing more. It does not follow you around the web, and it sets no advertising cookie.

Who else sees it

The form is delivered by the company that hosts this site and the company that sends the email, both acting on instruction and neither using it for anything of their own. The message then sits in the garage's email like any other enquiry.

How long it is kept

As long as it is useful for your job and any work that follows it, then it goes. Ask for it to be deleted sooner and it will be.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to it being used. Ring the number above. If you are not happy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Something wrong with the car?

Ring the garage and describe it, or send the form and someone will come back to you.
